What better way to celebrate finally getting conté crayon in the color that I meant to get it in in the first place than testing it out!
I should say, though, that it's ridiculously difficult to clean up conté and charcoal, especially when one is left handed. And when you're trying for a more pristine background.
So what is the picture? Why am I talking so much? It's a tightrope walker, done with charcoal, conté crayon, and pencil.
thank you! i was trying to capture the way that gymnasts or ballet dancers look like they have dozens more muscles than the average person, and how weird and alien and interesting that is. thanks for the compliment!
